Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Pamela Anderson's new neighbour

Vidhu Vinod Chopra has bought a house in USA’s Beverly Hills, thus becoming the first Bollywood celebrity to own a house in the locality. The Beverley Hills Hotel is right opposite Vidhu’s house.

According to sources, it’s not that hard to believe that Vidhu has purchased a new home in Beverly Hills seeing as how his film, 3 Idiots, is still running successfully, even though it has already been four months since its release. The film has raked in over Rs. 425 crore and is continuing to make money.

Vidhu is also in talks with many Hollywood stars for his next directorial venture, Broken Horses, which stars Mickey Rourke.

At present, Vidhu lives in India for 15 days and in the US for 15 days. He has wanted to buy there a house for a while, so when he saw that the place near the Beverley Hills Hotel was for sale; he finalized the deal immediately as he will begin shooting for Broken Horses on September 13 in New Mexico.

A set is being built in one of the USA-Mexico border’s desert areas. The film is still in its pre-production stage.

Hollywood celebrities like Jennifer Aniston, George Clooney, Pamela Anderson, Madonna, Eddie Murphy, Jack Nicholson and Sylvester Stallone are some of Vidhu’s new neighbours.
